Prudie I. Allman, 74, of 2401 Fairington, Apartment 123, died at 11:40 p.m. Sunday at Bartholomew County Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was the wife of Mance Allman, to whom she was married March 27, 1927.
Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Richard Tremain and the Rev. Ted Miller at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Reed and Jewell Funeral Home where persons may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at the Acme Cemetery west of Seymour.
Mrs. Allman was born March 21, 1907, in Jackson County, daughter of Alex and Artie Cockerham Ferguson.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Surviving with the husband are six sons, Randy Allman of Columbus, Jack Allman of Edinburgh, Larry Allman of Hope, Earl Allman of Scipio, Russell Allman of Clifford and Richard Allman of Fort Lewis, Wash.; five daughters, Phyllis Zaphe and Lois Irvin, both of Columbus, Imogene Hammond of Elizabethtown, Waneita Cockerman of Medora and Carol Pennington of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Other survivors include one stepson, Jessie Allman of South Carolina; one stepdaughter, Eileen Williams of Seymour; two brothers, Henry and Otis Ferguson, both of Brownstown; two sisters, Evelyn Elmore and Bernice Baurley, both of Tampa, Fla., 35 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
