She moved with her parents, brothers & sister in 1908 to the Warba area where her father cleared land and began farming.
She married in 1927 to Earl Brown. They lived in Marble MN where Earl was a security guard at one of the many iron mines in the area. They had 2 sons, Luran Victor and Richard Earl. After WWII they moved to Coleraine for a short time. Earl began working for the REA in Edgeley ND where they moved to circa 1949 and lived until Earl passed away in 1977.
Isabelle then moved back to MN to be near her family and friends. She lived in Grand Rapids the rest of her life.
