Oct 11, 1950 - Carroll Daily Times - Mrs. William B Hoesing, 73, died at 5:10 p.m. yesterday at her home 620 West 10th street, after a 10 week illness. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St Joseph church with the Rev Fr. Victor Kollasch offering requiem mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery. The body is at the Sharp Funeral home, where the rosary will be led by the Rev. Fr. Kollasch at 8 o'clock each night before the final rites.

Mrs. Hoesing, daughter of Ferdinand and Katherine Krogmann, was born Anna Katherine Krogmann March 2, 1877, on a farm near Arcadia. She married Mr Hoesing Jan 11, 1898 at Holy Angels church, Roselle. The couple located on a farm near Halbur, living in the same vicinity until they retired to live in Carroll in 1937. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1948.

Mrs Hoesing leaves her husband; eight children: Mrs George Venteicher (Leone), Carroll; Mrs Roy White (Josephine), Mapleton; Mrs Matt Kuker (Eleanor), Carroll; Julius Hoesing, Battle Creek, Mich.; Henry, Long Beach, Calif; Ed, Carroll; and Lawrence and Christine, at home. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren; and four sisters: Mrs Herman Fehring, Carroll; Miss Frances Krogmann, Lismore, Minn; Mrs Barney Riesselman, Adrain, Minn; and Mrs Henry Fehring, Lismore, Minn; and one sister-in-law, Mrs Helen Krogmann, Halbur.

Her parents, a son Bernard, and brother August Krogmann, preceded her in death. Mrs Hoesing was a memeber of St Lawrence church and the Christian Mothers Sodality.
