After Harriett (Abercrombie) Nash died in March of 1840, John Nesbitt Nash went back to Laurens County to settled some of his affairs. There is a document on file, between J.N. Nash and Mary Bolt dated 4 July 1840, settling her estate in SC before matrimony. It looks like a prenuptial agreement between the two of them. He was 54 and she was 39.
