Guffee Rites At Fort Cobb
Funeral service for Thomas C. Guffee, 67, of Verden were at 2 p.m. last Wednesday in the Assembly of God Church at Fort Cobb with James Fletcher, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Fort Cobb Cemetery under the direction of People's Funeral Home of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma.
Guffee died Saturday in his home at Verden after a short illness. He was born at Mountain View May 27, 1910. He had lived in the Verden area the past year.
Survivors include five daughters, Della Palmertree of Verden, Bonnie Duke of Cordell, Mary Duncan, Rosa Guffee and Sharon Guffee, all of Fort Cobb; six sons, Carl, Donnie and Tommy, all of Verden, and James, Bobby and Larry, all of Fort Cobb; two sisters, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
