Richard "Buddy" Tabraham, 74, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Buddy was born Feb. 3, 1933, in Grand Saline to Iama and Fred Tabraham. He lived in the Fort Worth area for 57 years. He retired from Merchants Fast Motor Lines in 1997 after 38 years and over 3 million safe-driving miles. Buddy was past master of Tarrant Masonic Lodge #942 and a member of Moslah Shrine, Chapter Council and Commandery.
Buddy was a wonderful husband, father and friend to all who knew him.
His family would like to thank the sixth-floor staff of Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth for their excellent care.
He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Mike Stuckwish; brother, Fred Tabraham Jr.; and sister, Winnifred Huddle.
Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Reda Tabraham; sons, Richard Tabraham Jr. and wife, Annette, of Bird-in-Hand, Pa., and Phillip Tabraham and wife, Teresa, of Haltom City; daughters, Sharon Lee Stuckwish and Marsha Fae Porter and husband, Tom, all of Humble; three brothers; two sisters; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends.
