Colby -- Mrs. Helen K. Marhofer, 64, of Colby died Tuesday at a nursing home in Oakley after a long illness. Born Feb. 21, 1906 at Pfeifer, she was married to Ray Marhofer Dec. 29, 1926 at Arnold.

She had moved here from Arnold in 1962. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Ransom.

Survivors include the widower; daughters, Mrs. Gran Smith, Colby, Mrs. Wilfred Nicklin, Topeka, Mrs. Victor Segarini, Stockton, Calif., Mrs. Allen Borger, Scott City; brothers, Sylvester Breit, Scott City, George Breit, Norman, Okla., Robert Breit, Arnold, Dale, Hoxie; sisters, Mrs. Sal Herman, WaKeeney, Mrs. Tanner, Springfield, Mo., Mrs. Joe St. Clair, Albany, Ga.; 10 grandchildren.

Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City; Rev. Robert A. Herklotz. Burial will be in Arnold Cemetery. Rosary will be 8 p.m. Thursday at he mortuary. The family suggests memorials be sent to the First State Bank, Ransom, or Thomas County National Bank, Colby. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
