Brasher B. "B. B." Russell, 86, Athens, died Monday at a local hospital.
The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with the Rev. Elzie Jones and the Rev. John Norman officiating. Burial will be in the Athens City Cemetery.
Mr. Russell was retired from the City of Athens.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Russell; three sons, Bobby Russell of Belmont, MS, Billy Russell and Douglas Russell, both of Athens; a daughter, Juanita Miller of Athens; a sister, Ura McBay of Cullman; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Married Gladys Nelda Ware on March 25, 1929, Garland Co, Ark.
