Athens, AL - Mrs. Lula Garrett, 99, of Athens Convalescent Center, died Tuesday at her residence.
The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Gary Kelsey and Burl Grubb officiating. Burial was in the Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Garrett was a member of the Northside Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Edna Burns and Willie Griffin, both of Athens; a brother, B. B. Russell of Athens; a sister, Eura McBay of Cullman; 10 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 35 great-great-grandchildren.
