A funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 1998, in Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel in Vancouver, Wash., for Letha E. Alford, who died June 12 at age 87.
Mrs. Alford was born April 16, 1911, in Husum, Wash. Her maiden name was Knapp. She moved to Vancouver in 1926. She was a licensed practical nurse for Memorial Hospital and the old St. Joseph's Hospital and later was an independent home-care nurse. She was a member of Orchards Seventh-day Adventist Church. In 1949, she married Everett; he died in 1990.
Survivors include her daughter, Arlene Thompson, and brother, Roscoe Knapp, both of Vancouver; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Private interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery....
