Ira D. Lane of 437 South Newlin Avenue passed away January 12. Mr. Lane was well known here, having been a resident of Whittier for 55 years. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth E. Lane: three children Mrs. Mildred A. Fowler of Gorman, Calif; Charles N. Lane and Mrs. Helen Poole of Whittier; two grandsons and two great grandsons.
Funeral Services will be held January 15 at 2pm at the Siewart Memory Chapel, with Rev. E. E. Day officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hills Memorial Park, where the Whittier Lodge of Odd Fellows will have charge of the services.
