Wallace Baumann was born April 22, 1916 to Frederick W. and Marie Jaeggi Baumann in Salt Lake City, passed away in Bountiful, Utah on November 5, 2008.


Wally married Afton Hardy. They later divorced. He served in World War II from 1942 to 1945 and two years of reconstruction in the Philippines. He married Helen Crawford in the Manti LDS Temple on April 21, 1950. He worked at Hill Air Force Base until retirement.


Survived by: wife, children: Gerald Dunn, Dennis (Carolyn) Dunn, JoAnn (Jay) Hoggins, Robert J. (Laurel) Baumann; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.


Funeral Services for Wally will be held on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, Salt Lake City. There will be no viewing, however, family and friends are invited to meet with the family from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the Funeral Services.
Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (1950 East), Sandy, UT.
