Professional Football Player. He was born Franklin Clark Miller and played at the defensive end position for nine seasons (1962 to 1970) in the National Football League with the San Francisco 49ers, Washington Redskins and Los Angeles Rams. A star player during his collegiate years at Utah State University, he was chosen by the 49ers in the 5th round of the 1961 NFL Draft and appeared in 97 career games. Miller was inducted into the Utah State University Athletics Hall of Fame in 1995. He died from a heart attack.
