"Mrs. Anna Watson Church, aged 54 years, died at her home on West Elm street, Wednesday evening, February 3, at 10:45 o'clock. She had suffered severely with rheumatism for the past eight years and had been unable to walk for some time. Her death was due to tuberculosis. Mrs. Church was a daughter of Robert and Catherine Anderson Watson, and was born at Holbrook, December 14, 1877. She was a member of the Waynesburg Christian church, and was highly esteemed. Beside her parents, she leaves three children: Robert Church, of Maracaibo, Venezuela, who arrived here Wednesday, having come by air to McKeesport; William Church, at home, and Miss Ruth Church, who is in a sanitarium at Mont Alto, Pa. Two stepchildren, Mrs. Howard Throckmorton, of Waynesburg, R. D. 5, and Mrs. William H. Rinehart, of Roaring Branch, Pa., and the following brothers and sister survive: Samuel S. Watson, of Waynesburg; Rev. George W. Watson, of Miami, Florida; Dr. J. H. Watson, of Jeannette; John R. Watson, of Holbrook, and Mrs. R. L. Throckmorton, of Waynesburg. Another sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Higgins, died six months ago. The funeral services will be held Thursday, at 2 o'clock, in the First Christian church, conducted by the Rev. F. S. Dowdy, pastor of the church. Interment in Rosemont cemetery."
