She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, John and Mildred Bacon of Lenoir, North Carolina; a brother-in-law, J. I. Thompson of Glennville; a sister-in-law, Nanelle S. Bacon of Jesup; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, at Cobb Funeral Home, Glennville chapel, with the Rev. J. Edwin Bacon, Jr.; the Rev. William C. Bacon; and the Rev. Keith Rustin officiating. Burial was in Glennville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gary Banks, Wayne Brewton, Dorsey Thompson, Bran Thompson, Stephen Crisp, and Adam Crisp.
