Born on July 3, 1902 to Karl N. and Katherine Jensen Pedersen in Provo, Utah.

Married Nevada Butterfield, Salt Lake City, December 24, 1922. She died August 26, 1966. Was a miner for forty years, 30 of which was spent with United States Smelting Refining & Mining Co., Lark Mine, Lark, Utah.

Survivors: sons and daughters, K. Lawrence Pedersen, Kearns; Delmar L. Pedersen, Midvale; Bonnie P. Kilgrow, Murray; Earl D. Pedersen, Riverton; Mrs. Kay (Helen) P. Schroeder, Bluffdale; Mrs. Russell (Linda) P. Boulton, Salt Lake City, Utah; 35 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Marie Snyder, Salt Lake City; brother, Jesse O. Pedersen, Murray.

Preceded in death by two sons, Bert G. (oldest) and Verl W. (youngest). NOTE: not mentioned in obituary

Funeral services, Monday 1:00 p.m., at the Riverton 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 12574 South 1700 West. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State, Sunday, 6-8 p.m., and Monday at the Ward Chapel, one hour prior to services. Burial: Riverton Cemetery
