Moses was the son of Travis & Lucinda (Dulin) Latham. Moses was married to Maria Brumlow prior to 1844 and the couple settled on a family farm in Perry Township, Franklin County, OH. Sometime between 1850 and 1860 Moses & Maria moved to a farm in Washington Township, Franklin County, OH. The couple reportedly parented 12 children in Franklin County between the years of 1844 & 1870: Daniel Smith Latham (also buried at Wesley Chapel Cemetery), Harriet Eliza Latham (also buried at Wesley Chapel Cemetery), John Oliver Latham, Zachariah "Zachary" Taylor Latham, Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Latham (also buried at Wesley Chapel Cemetery), Horace Latham, Joseph Latham, Betty (or Betsey) Latham, Jennie Latham, Emma Latham (also buried at Wesley Chapel Cemetery), Sophia Latham, & Etta Latham.
