Mrs. Boone was an accounting technician at the Marine Corps Finance Center in Kansas City, retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Rose Hill Baptist Church, Latour.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd E. Boone of the home; two sons, Robert L. Boone, Raytown, and Thomas E. Boone, Omaha, Neb.; two daughters, Mary Jane Edwards, Leander, Texas, and Annetta M. Lindsay, Garden City, Mo.; a brother, Walter Newton, Marionville, Mo.; two sisters, Lela Standley, Bosworth, Mo., and Velma Sturgeon, Warrensburg, Mo.; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the East Lynne (Mo.) Baptist Church; burial in the Strasburg (Mo.) Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Dickey Chapel, Harrisonville. The family suggests contributions to Hospice Care of the Visiting Nurse Association.
