David Edwin Browne (67) was born on Nov. 18, 1921 in Washington Court House, Ohio the fifth and youngest child (Alfred, Dorothy, Miriam, Betty, David) of Alfred Henry Browne and Freda Martha Mosier.

His parents, Freda Martha Mosier and Alfred Henry Browne, were married in Columbus, Ohio on Oct. 6, 1913.

His siblings were: Alfred Mosier Browne (1917-2003) married 2 times 2nd wife, Dorothy L.; Miriam Browne Binegar d. 1980; Betty Alice Browne Woodruff d. 2003

On his mother's side, the Martha (Pine) Moser family came from a small village outside of Bern, Switzerland and lived in Springfield, OH. Martha died of consumption (tuberculosis).

From 1939-1945 David fought in WWII in the U.S. Navy stationed in the Philippines and 10 months in London, England.

On Jan. 11, 1947, he married Florence Luella Childs, daughter of Guy Truman Childs and May Barbara Steiber. The wedding took place at her sister, Evelyn Louise Childs Long's, home in Chicago, Illinois.

David worked at Cleveland Trust Bank as a Loan Officer for many years until his retirement in May of 1977 . As a young couple with 3 girls, they loved camping. His wife, Florence, worked as an Licensed Practical Nurse throughout their marriage . At retirement in 1977 David and Florence moved Phoenix, AZ. Their middle daughter, Marilyn, followed them there about a year later in 1978. David Edwin Browne died Dec. 29, 1988 Phoenix, AZ of a heart attack.
