Mr. Samuel Brandon, Jr Beloved husband and Father departed this life and entered the home of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on October 6, 1990. Mr Brandon was born on Ferruary 2, 1921 in Halifax County, Virginia and was educated in Halifaz Public Schools. He was the son of the late Mr.Samuel Brandon, Sr and Mrs Virgie Ola Brandon. Uncle Sam came to Norfolk, Va in 1942 were he met and married the Late Elizabeth Church. Also in 1942, he entered the United States Army and served his country in World War 2. He received a Medal of Valor and Purple Heart and was honorabley discharged in 1945. After 36 years of service, he retired from the Norfolk Naval Reworks Facility. He loved people and was willing to help anyone in need.
