HANSEY--Morris A Hansey, 81, 224 N Longwood St, died at 5:37 pm Sunday, Aug 8, 1982, in Swedish-American Hospital after a short illness. Born Jan 17, 1901, in Lanesboro, Minn, son of Helmer and Anne Hansey. Lived 42 years in Rockford, coming from Duluth, MN. Married to the former Mildred G Lanches in Duluth, Jan 13, 1923; she died June 3, 1980. Employed as mechanic by Lunde Truck Sales for 35 years, retiring 1967. Member of Ellicle Lodge 25, Independent Order of Vikings. Survivors include five daughters, Marjorie Howard, Joyce Hansey, Mrs. Leo (Gloria) Johnson and Darlene Bagwell, all of Rockford and Margaret Heller, Westland, Mich; 28 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Services at 1 pm Thursday, Aug 12, in Sunderberg Funeral Home Ltd, 215 N 6th St, with the Rev O Garfield Beckstrand, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
