HANSEY--Mildred G Hansey, 78, 2-- N Longwood St, died at 7:30 pm Tuesday, June 3, 1980, in Swedish-American Hospital after a long illness. Born June 11, 1901, in St. Paul, Minn, daugher of Anton and Anna Lanches. Lived 39 years in Rockford, ocming here from Duluth, Minn. Married to Morris A Hansey in Duluth, Jan 13, 1923. Employed as a cook at Swedish Village for many years, retiring in 1952. Member of Independent Order of Vikings, Elide Lodge. Survivors include her husband, Morris, six daughters, Marjorie Howard, Joyce Hansey, Mrs. Leo (Gloria) Johnson and Darlene Bagwell, all of Rockford, Margaret Heller, Westland, Mich, and Shirley Bullock, Portland, Ore; a sister, Mrs Betty Ross, St Paul; a brother, Ray Lanches, Minneapolis, Minn; 26 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Services at 10 am Friday, June 6, in Sundberg Funeral Home Ltd, 215 N th St, with the Rev Joseph A Holub, associate pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. No visitation.
