Bessie Kimble,53, of Petersburg died Monday at Grant Memorial Hospital at Petersburg where she had been a patient several weeks. Mrs Kimble was born Jan 14, 1930, in Pendleton County and was the daughter of May VanMeter Alt of Landes and the late Frank J. Alt. She worked 19 years for Joan Curtis Manufacturing Co. in Petersburg. Her husband, Denton H. Kimble, survives. Also surviving are two sons, Roger D. Alt of Upper Tract and Mark A. Kimble at home; a daughter, Wanda Bible of Petersburg; seven sisters, Zola Kile, Ganel Armentrout, Millie Hedrick and Shelia Kimble, all of Upper Tract, Wilma Wagner of Union Beach, NJ., Kathleen Raker of Williamsport, PA., and Thomasine Berg of Arthur; seven brothers, Ervin Alt of Landes, Burley of Baltimore, Raymond Alt of Upper Tract, William Alt of Lahmansville, Loy Alt of Green Spring, and James alt of Alexandria, VA; and three grandchildren.
