Ina Handley Conner was born July 4, 1910, in Childress County. She attended school in Wellington, Texas and graduated from Wellington High School with the Class of 1929.
She moved to Arlington to attend North Texas Agricultural College. Ina married Earl Conner on March 26, 1932.
She owned Conner's Gifts and Flowers for many years.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Arlington, Soroptimist, Arlington Women's Club and Eastern Star. She had been a volunteer at Arlington Memorial Hospital.
Survivors: Daughter, Ann Svoboda and husband, Edward, of Lincoln, Neb.; sons, R. Kelton Conner and wife, Virginia, of Granbury, Tom Conner and wife, Lisa, of Arlington; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
