LORA WAKEMAN
Lora Walton Wakeman died July 13, 1997 at her home.
Funeral services were held for Lora Wakeman, Wednesday, July 16, in the Thayne Stake Center.  Burial Thayne Cemetery.
Born Nov. 3, 1911 to Charles and Mary Amelia Walton, she was the 10th child in a family of 13. They have all preceded her in death except two sisters.
She married Buhl Wakeman in June 1932.  Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple in July 1963.  They had three children, Lynn, Layle and Patsy. Layle preceded her in death in 1935.
She served as secretary in the Sunday School and Primary also as the church librarian.  She was the Relief Society work director for three years.  She was a visiting teacher for 40 years.  She did a lot of temple work while she was able.
She was a hard worker and loved her family and friends.  She loved to crochet and knit and do handiwork.  She quilted many beautiful quilts for her family and friends.
She and Buhl were blesses with 65 years of marriage.
She has nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, two preceded her in death.
Lora suffered from poor health in her later years.  She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
