Lera Jane Harper was the dau of Jesse Crittonton Harper and Lucinda Page. She died June 16 1973 in Monroe Co KY and was buried in Monroe CO KY, Page Cem.
No record has been found of a marriage for her, altho the word of mouth of several Page family members indicate she was buried as Lera Jane Martin, supported by her death record.
Lera is found with her parents/widowed mother in Monroe KY 1900-1940. She is age 4 in 1900, 14 in 1910, 24 in 1920, 33 in 1930 (with dau Emma L. 4, born Feb 27 1926 to Lera J. Harper) and 44 in 1940/single, dau Emma not in household.
Lera Jane reportedly had five children out of wedlock, all were brought up with the Harper name.

The four younger children apparently were raised from infancy in other households, as they are not with her in 1930 or 1940. They may have been raised together, as obit of Clifton refers to his siblings Gene, Tom and Emma. At least three of them died in Indiana, and sons Clifton and Gene are in same cemetery as Lera's sister, Clarise, and Gene's obit states he was raised by his aunt Clarise. Have not found a record for son Tom.
