HOBART.--Mrs. Lovina Shearer who formerly lived here, passed away Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Paulson at East Chicago. She was 85 years old and has been in poor health for the past few months. The funeral will be held today. Services will be conducted by Rev. Jones of East Chicago, and will be held at the Union church at Blatchley's Corner. The interment will be at Mosier cemetery. She is survived by seven children who are: Mrs. Mary Koch and James Shearer of this place; George Shearer of Valparaiso; W. Shearer of Hammond; Silas Shearer of Kalamazoo, Mich.; Mrs. Rose Goodrich of Joliet, Ill.; and Mrs. R. Paulson of East Chicago.
