Viola E. Wisor, 78, of Mineral Springs, passed away on Sept. 29 at her home.
She was born on Feb. 14, 1930 in Bigler, the daughter of Lex C. and Irvena S. (Graffius) Williams.
Mrs. Wisor was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Calvary Church of God.
Mrs. Wisor is survived by four children: Raymond L. Wisor of Clearfield, Darlene M. Teats and her husband Jeffrey of Treasure Lake, Robert C. Wisor and his wife Trudy of Cowarts, AL and Helen L. Fink and her husband Brian of New Millport, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Deborah Wisor of Mineral Springs and a sister, Evelyn Lucas of Moshannon, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul D. "Whitey" Wisor whom she married on Nov. 14, 1949 and who died on June 9, 2001, a son, Rev. Paul A. "Bud" Wisor on April 9, 2008, a daughter, Anna Mae Wisor in October 1954, an infant brother, Nile Williams, two brothers: Frank and Doyle Williams, and three sisters: Mary Wisor, Manda Zuch and Iva Swoope.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Oct. 3, 2008 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield with Rev. Stanley Wisor and Rev. Sam Maines co-officiating. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Oct. 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second St., Suite 102, Clearfield, PA 16830.
