BIGLER - Lex C. Williams, 71, died this morning at the Clearfield Hospital. He was born April 14, 1901, in Bradford Township, a son of Edward and Sarah (Graffius) Williams.

He was married to the former Irvena S. Graffius, who survives along with the following children: Mrs. Max (Mary) Wisor, Woodland; Mrs. Emory (Iva) Swoope, Woodland R.D.; Mrs. Ward (Amanda) Zuch and Doyle A. Williams, both of Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Paul (Viola) Wisor, Mineral Springs; and Mrs. Harry (Evelyn) Lucas, Moshannon.

He was preceded in death by two sons.

Mr. Williams is also survived by the following brothers: Raymond, West Decatur R.D.; Dorse, Woodland R.D; and Myrl, Hawk Run. Three brothers preceded him in death.

Twenty-five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive.

He was a member of the Bible Tabernacle Church of Mineral Springs.

Friends will be received at the William W. Strange Home for Funerals from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth Pry officiating. Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery.
