She attended high school in Nashville and attended college in Monticello, Arkansas A&M. Sue then moved to Oklahoma and got her BA Degree in 1941 at Oklahoma City University. She met and married her beloved husband, James E. McKinney (Mac) who preceded her in death. They had two children, Wayne Lee McKinney in Marshal, Texas and Kathy Sue Collier in Oklahoma City. Her four grandchildren are Bobby McKinney, Ben McKinney, Kim Collier and Chris Collier. She is survived by many other relatives, nieces and nephews.
