IVAN JAY KARTCHNER, s. Arza Royal Kartchner & Ada Cooley, m. 1st at Salt Lake City, 28 July 1939, HELEN ERICKSON. She b. 13 Feb 1923, Murray, dau of Alvin J. Erickson & Ethel L. Anderson. He rn. 2nd at Salt Lake, 19 Jan 1949, JUNE BARKER. She b. 22 Jun 1926, Escalante, Ut, dau of Willard Barker & Clara June Mc lnelly.

CHILDREN: Kartchner & 1st wife—­b, Salt Lake.
Raymond Jay, b. 17 May 1940.
Leslie Frank, b. 26 Aug 1944.

CHILDREN: Kartchner & 2nd wife
Roderick Barker, b. 3 Sep 1955, Ponca City, Okla.
Junada, b. 27 Sep 1959, Casper, Wyo.

He married three times, in addition to the two recorded in Collinwood's book, Ivan married Betty Arlene "Miles" Waddle in 1961.

Beloved father and grandfather, was called home on September 16, 2008 at the age of 85.

He was born November 19, 1922 in Midvale, Utah to Arza and Ada Kartchner. Our Pappy was a true "Cowboy and Outdoorsmen." He loved horseback riding and camping. His passions in life were his children and getting them all together for a trail ride. He was a successful business owner of Beehive Furniture and Carpet Cleaners. He was well loved and liked by everyone who knew him. Dad was also a faithful member of the LDS Church.

He is survived by brother: Marlo (Eleanor); sisters: Virginia and Fern; his children: Raymond (Sandy), Leslie "Bud" (Sandy), Roderick, Junda (Travis), Kandy (Dan), Jaylene (Steve), Kayla (Blaine), and Adam Jared A.J.; Tamira (Ex-wife); 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, eight sisters and ex-wives: Helen, June and Arlene.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at the Elk Run Chapel, 3610 South 8400 West. Viewing from 11 a.m. to 12:45.
Interment at Redwood Memorial Estates.
