AREA MINISTER DIES AT HOME

Homer F. Hoover of Duncansville RD 1 died at his home at 10:15 a.m. today. He was minister at the Park Hill Furnace Church of the Brethren.

Mr. Hoover was born at Duncansville RD 1, Allegheny Twp., and married Flora Bailey.

Surviving are his wife, five children, Homer F. Jr. of Duncansville, Galen E. of Carson Valley, Mrs. Yvonne Richter of Dayton, Ohio, Miss Virginia K. of Arlington, Va., and Miss Cleo F. of Alexandria, Va., eight grandchildren, and six brothers and sisters: Allen L. of Silver Spring, Md., Ralph E. and Mrs. Dora Cochran of Carson Valley, Leroy D. and Mrs. Elva Metzker of Roaring Spring and Mrs. Ruth Claar of Canfield, Ohio.

Mr. Hoover retired from the Lafferty Trucking Co. as a supervisor. He was an original member of the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren.

Friends will be received at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata, from noon tomorrow until 10 a.m. Tuesday, and there after at the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren.
