Mrs. Roy W. Burden Dead

Mrs. Roy W. Burden, 101 South Congress St., died Tuesday evening in Newman Memorial County Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapell (sic), conducted by the Rev. Howard Holverson, pastor of the First Christian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Fannie O. Anderson, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Finnel Anderson, was born Dec. 12th, 1880, in Emporia. Surviving are her husband of the home, whom she married Jan. 4th, 1899; two sons, Clifford D. Burden, 722 Exchange St., and Howard G. Burden, Rt. 4; a daughter, Mrs. Horace Maddock, Wichita; two sisters, Mrs. John W. Blackburn, 14 West South Ave., and Mrs. George Johnson, 1520 Center St.; seven granddaughters, three grandsons, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Edna, and two brothers, William and Clair Anderson.
