INDEPENDENCE - Charles I. Brown, 79, 1525 Monmouth-Independence Highway, died Friday at an Independence nursing home. Born in Illinois, he had lived in Independence 35 years. He is survived by step-daughter Alma Cupp, two sisters and one brother.
Services will be at Barrick mortuary Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with Bishop Garth Larson officiating. Interment will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
