Robert Bomar Allen, 82, of 517 Crabtree Ave., died at 11:20 p.m., Saturday at the Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital following a long illness. He was a retired farmer. Born in Hart County on Feb. 11, 1881. he had lived in Owensboro and Daviess County most of his life. Survivors are four daughters: Mrs. Al Plasner of New York City; Mrs. Perry and Mrs. Frank Talley, both of Evansville, Ind., and Mrs. Claude Johnson of El Paso, Texas; two sons, Robert Allen of Tucson, Ariz., and Enis Ray Allen of Owensboro; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lon Kassinger of Owensboro. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the James H. Davis Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Oscar Smith. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Melvin Luton, Charles Kassinger, Ronnie Blair, Roy Savage, Oscar Blair and Ernest Blair. The body is at the funeral home.
