Lee Allen, 61, farmer, died in his home, Philpot, Route 2, at 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Mr. Allen was born in Hancock County, September 2, 1890. He was a member of the Providence Methodist Church. Surviving are four sons, Jesse Lee Allen, Calhoun; James, G.B., and Sherman B.
Allen, Daviess County; three granddaughters, one brother, Bomar Allen, Owensboro; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Kassinger and Mrs. Nanny Pilton, Owensboro. The body is in the James H. Davis Funeral Home, 1001 Frederica St., where funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Henry Schafer, pastor of Eaton Memorial Baptist Church, at 2:30 p.m. today. Burial will be in Cates Cemetery. Pallbearers: Bluford, Enis, Robert, Davis, and Lee Allen, and James Kassinger.
