Requiem Mass for Mrs. Mary L. Koelsch, 5325 E. Reno, who died Jan. 4, was offered by Rev. J. Robert Henshaw in St. Philip Neri church on Jan. 6.
Rev. John Vrana, Rev. Stephen A. MacAulay and Rev. Patrick Murtaugh, Jones, were present in the sanctuary.
She was born Nov. 2, 1884, in Nebraska, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Eckroat. She moved from Scribner, Neb., to Oklahoma City when she was 8 years of age.
She was a member of the St. Philip Neri altar society.
She is survived by her husband, Sebastian J.; four sons, Ted L., George F., and James C., all of Oklahoma City, and Joe S. Koelsch, Locust Grove; four daughters, Mrs. G.L. Crosby and Mrs. Irene M. Gore, both of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Leroy Hunter, Midwest City, and Mrs. William Stoia, Miami, Fla.
Also five brothers, William, Daniel and Paul H. Eckroat, all of Oklahoma City; Frank Eckroat, Mission, Texas, and John Eckroat, Jones, and two sisters, Mrs. John F. King, Yates Center, Kan., and Sister M. Philomena, R.S.M., of Mt. St. Mary's, Oklahoma City. Also 16 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her nephews, David Koelsch, Jimmy Koelsch, Jerry Koelsch, Henry Eckroat, William Eckroat, Jr., and Ted Eckroat.
Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery with Father Vrana having services at the grave.
