Donald graduated from Muscoda High School in 1962. On November 21, 1964 Donald married Jean Swick at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He loved hunting, fishing, and playing cards.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Jean, his devoted children, 3 sons, Donald (Heike) Aide of Grand Forks AFB, ND, Todd (Lisa) Aide of Stoughton, Mark (Chris) Aide of Radcliff, KY, one daughter, Michelle (Joseph) Whiteaker of Boscobel, 10 grandchildren, two brothers , Richard (Linda) Aide of Fox Lake, David (Lois) Aide of Edgerton, two sisters, Mary Ann (Jim) Studnicka of Muscoda, Maureen (Steve) Kraak of Sun Prairie, mother-in-law, Lu Swick of Westfield, sister-in-law, Nona Overbey of Monticello, brother-in-law, Dean Alexander of Westfield, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Mary Aide, sister Patricia Aide, brother Joseph Aide, father-in-law Orryn Swick, sister-in-law Patricia Alexander, and brother-in-law Roger Overbey.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, December 15, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father LaVern Meier and Father Robert Butz con-celebrating. Burial was held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
Friends called at the Godager Funeral Home on Thursday, December 14, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, where a parish rosary was held at 4:30 PM.
Friends also called at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the mass at 11:00 AM.
The Godager Funeral Home assisted the family with their arrangements.
