Jean Rae Aide, age 67, of Muscoda, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg.

She was born July 15, 1944, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Orryn and Lula (Hurlbut) Swick. On Nov. 21, 1964, Jean married Donald Aide at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She loved to knit and crotchet as well as cooking and baking. Jean enjoyed reading romance novels and John Wayne.

Jean is survived by her devoted children, three sons, of Palmer, Alaska, Stoughton, Radcliff, Ky.; a daughter, of Evansville; 10 grandchildren, a great-grandchild; mother, Lu Swick of Montello; sister, of Montello; brothers-in-law, of Westfield, Fox Lake, and Edgerton; sisters-in-law, of Muscoda, and Sun Prairie; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her father, Orryn; husband, Donald; sister, Patricia Alexander; father and mother-in-law, Francis and Mary Aide; and brothers-in-law, James Studnicka and Roger Overbey.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC CHURCH with Father Peter Auer officiating.

Burial will be held on the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Friends may call at the GODAGER PRATT FUNERAL HOME on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. were a parish rosary will be held at 4 p.m. The Godager Pratt Funeral Home is assisting the family with their arrangements. Online condolences can be made at:
