Graveside services for Roy Albert Philips,80, will be 10am Saturday in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Ted Mayr Chapel with Rev. Jim Wells officiating.
Mr.Philips died Wednesday in the hospital after a long illness.
He was born Aug.15, 1898 in Grant, Marion, Kansas and has lived Ventura County for 46yrs.
He worked as a pumper for Continental Oil Company for 20yrs, retiring in 1955.
Roy Philips is survived by his wife, Phyllis of Oxnard; two sons, Rodney Bryan of Camarillo and Donald Eugene of Ventura; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
