MRS. MARTHA ROOP, 75, DIES THIS AFTERNOON
Widow of Jacob Roop Succumbs at Home of Sister in Markle
Mrs. Martha Jane Roop, 75, widow of Jacob Roop, a resident of East Central avenue, this city, died at 1 o'clock this afternoon at the home of her sister, Mrs. George Ditzler, in Markle, where she had been visiting the last eight weeks.
Mrs. Roop had been a sufferer from low blood pressure for some time, but the end came suddenly.
Surviving Mrs. Roop are four children: Miss Emma Roop, Kalamazoo, Mich.; Edna Roop, of South Bend; Mrs. Emory Goff and Mrs. Ida Fryback, of this city. Three sisters, Mrs. S. C. Harker, of Tipton; Mrs. Mary Musgrave and Mrs. Laura E. Ditzler, of Markle, and a brother, Henry J. Teeple, of Adams County, mourn her death.
She was a member of the Christian church at Murray.
The body will be brought to the home here and the time of the funeral service will be announced later
