Services Saturday For Mrs. M. A. Rollins
Funeral services for Mrs. Marlin A. (Louetta) Rollins were held Saturday, December 30, 1967 at the Acton Baptist Church. Rev. J. F. Owen, Rev. L. C. Landers and Rev. Floyd Reeves officiated. Mrs. Rollins passed away in the Fort Worth Osteopathic hospital, Thursday, December 28, 1967. She had been ill for several years and had undergone surgery and had been hospitalized several times.
Mrs. Rollins was born April 21, 1901 in Hood County, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Sledge. She and Mr. Rollins were married in Fort Worth. Their home was in the Acton community. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.
Survivors are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Harvey Hubbard of Odessa, four sons, Duward Rollins of Duncan, Oklahoma; Lecil Rollins of Lindsay, Oklahoma; Johnny and Coy Rollins of Granbury, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Luther Sledge of California and Cal Sledge of Granbury; one sister, Miss Olie Sledge of Mexia.
Interment was in the Acton Cemetery, Martin's Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were F. T. Nelson, Paul Marrs, W. M. Massey, H. B. Philley, John Cleveland and Dutch Dillon.
