Monica Isabel Adams, 29, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008 in Lubbock.
A rosary was held on Sunday, Sept. 7 at Mark A. Jones Memorial Chapel in Brownfield. Funeral Mass was held Sept. 8 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial followed in Brownfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born on May 7, 1979 to Raul Longoria and Norma Antuna in Brownfield. She attended school in Brownfield.
Monica lived in Brownfield her whole life except for the few years she lived in Lubbock. Her family remembers her best for making new friends and helping all who needed it.
She is survived by her parents, Norma and husband Larry Antuna of Brownfield and Raul Longoria of Charlotte; maternal grandparents, Ignasio and Maria Martinez of Brownfield, and paternal grandmother Olivia Longoria of Charlotte; one son: Elias Lopez of Brownfield; one brother, Armando Rodriguez of Brownfield, and one sister: Maria Longoria of Brownfield.
She is preceded in death by one son, Joe Angel Lopez in 1998 and paternal grandfather, Sabas Longoria.
