Bio
I became interested in genealogy about six years ago when I entered the name of one of my great-grandfathers in a free genealogy search engine. I hit 'search' and up came many names I was familiar with and some I wasn't! I was hooked!
At that time I knew basically what most people know about their ancestors--the names of my grandparents and the names of some of my great-grandparents.
Since then I've acquired a lot more knowledge about the people who lived before me. It's like being a detective, and it's so exciting to uncover a tiny little piece to the puzzle! I want to know who they were and what they did because they are my past and I am a product of the decisions they made. I still consider myself a beginner because I'm still searching!
