Andrew Buschbom, a resident of Marshall county for forty-one years, died at 11:30 Sunday night at his home, four miles west of the city, of old age and heart trouble.

Mrs Buschbom was a native of Germany and was born in Wensen, Germany, October 23, 1835. He came to America in 1867 and February 12 of that year he was united in marriage with Miss Regina Nolta at Sandwich, Illinois. She died in Marshall county in 1888, and in 1890 he took as his wife Mrs Augusta L Hunzelmann of State Center. She survives him with seven of the eight children born to the first marriage, three children by the second marriage and a step-son. The children are Miss Lena Buschbom, Mrs Emma Smith, Oscar and Herman Buschbom, of State Center, Robert Buschbom of St Anthony, Henry Buschbom near this city, Fred Buschbom of Union, Albert Buschbom at home, Ernest Buschbom of Grand Rapids, Wisconsin and Mrs Clara Bailey, city. A daughter, Mrs Amanda Wittenkemp died four years ago and a step-son William Buschbom lives in Sioux City.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday. At 11 am a short prayer service will be held at the home and at 2 o'clock services will be held at the French Grove Lutheran church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
