She departed this life at the Baptist Memorial Hospital where eight weeks before she had undergone a major surgical operation, on Sunday morning July 7, 1929.
Surviving her are: D.D. Low, husband; Olie Louise, Lenoir, Martha Lee, Sarah Ruffin, D.D. Low, Jr. and infant two months old Billy Low. She is also survived by her father and mother, four brothers, J. B. Ruffin of Glen Allan, Miss; R.P. Ruffin of Enid, Miss; D.W. Ruffin, Jr. of Covington, Tenn; W.V. Ruffin, of Memphis, Tenn. Numerous nieces and nephews, one of whom, Louise Ruffin, has lived with her for four years.
