Rosary service for Helen Pauline Hendrix was held Tuesday at Smith and Kernke in Oklahoma City. Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday at Epiphany of the Lord Church with burial in the El Reno Cemetery.
Mrs. Hendrix, 88, died Friday in Oklahoma City She was born in El Reno and graduated from El Reno High School in 1938. She received a degree in nursing, in 1946 from St. Joseph's in Fort Worth and later worked as a registered nurse in Washington, D.C., Arizona and at St. Anthony's in Oklahoma City. She also served as school nurse at St. Gregory's College in Shawnee.
She is survived by sons, John Hendrix of Oklahoma City and William Hendrix of Kalispell, Mont.; a daughter, Mary Weggeland Hendrix of Tidewater, Ore.; a brother, Robert T. Kelly of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; eight grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
