He married second Mrs. Eliza (Harper) Kelley on Sep 20, 1864 in St. Louis Co, Missouri. They had 5 children.
He died at his home two miles north of Hall, in what is now Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma.

Mr. Wm. Mayberry, for many years a resident of the Indian Territory, died at his home two miles north of Hall, Pottawatomie county, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, July 25th, 1899, aged 83 years.
Mr. Mayberry was born in Henderson county, Kentucky, August 22nd, 1816; was married to Caroline McBrune in 1839, by whom he had ten children; she died October 25th, 1863, and he was married at St. Louis, September 20, 1864, to Mrs. E. Kelley, who survives him and by whom he had five children. He leaves ten living children, thirty grand children and sixteen great-grand children. Mrs. N.P. Morris, of Noble, is one of the children, and her daughter, Mrs. S.S. Case, of the Register, one of the grandchildren. The other children are Mrs. Sarah Shelley, of Pawhuska, O. T. ; Mrs. Fred Harper, of Adams, Neb.; Mrs. V. L. Dancy, of Hall, O. T.; Mrs. Crockett Cooper, of Fox, I. T.; Mr. John Mayberry, of Arthur, I. T. ; Messrs. Cal, Press, and Henry Mayberry, all of Hall, O. T.
The burial took place Wednesday, at the Fairview cemetery, five miles east of Noble, the services being conducted by Rev. Brazwell, with a large concourse of relatives, friends and neighbors in attendance.
Mr. Mayberry had been very low for some time with diseases incident to his extreme age, but the immediate cause of his death was a stroke of paralysis. He was highly respected by all who knew him and leaves to his many descendants that proudest of all heritages---the stainless record of a life of integrity and honesty.
