Obituary - George Fred Satterley, 71, of 31 Cedar Grove Street, Patchogue, died last Wednesday at the Pine Rest Nursing Home, after an illness. Born in Patchogue, he was a life resident here. He was a retired painter and decorator. During his younger years was affiliated with the International Order of Odd Fellows and was active in the Salvation Army. He is survived by two daughters, Miss Emma Marie Satterley of Patchogue and Mrs. Catherine Irene Turner of Blue Point. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at C.W. Ruland Sons Funeral Home in Patchogue with the Rev. John E. Southard, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Patchogue, officiating. Interment was in Gerard Cemetery, Patchogue.
