Obituary:
Wm. A Watts of Red River died on the 27th inst. Uncle Bill was one of the first settlers of this county, he came here before the Indian had ceased to chase the deer through the forests and the cane grew rank in every bottom. He has made Searcy a good, upright, honest citizen, and all the people will miss him, but we all must cross over and rest beyond the shades of immortality.
